Life can be a beautiful mess, and Jen states that her four decades have certainly been no exception. Growing up in Mountain Home, she has always cherished the bonds formed with childhood friendsโ€”connections that have weathered the storms of life. Her career journey started as a certified massage therapist. With over 25 years of experience in assisted living, specializing in dementia and memory care, Jen has learned to navigate both the chaos and the beauty of human connection.

Jen is fortunate to have incredible kids and a beautiful granddaughter. As December marks her 7th anniversary with Transystems, she finds happiness in the simplest of things: camping trips, driving around to admire Christmas lights, and spontaneous photo adventures in the South Hills. These traditions ground her and remind her of the joy found in everyday moments.

Despite being a self-proclaimed introvert, Jen transforms when sheโ€™s on the flume. At work, she becomes a sassy, silly version of herself, dancing like nobodyโ€™s watching. Outside of work, she enjoys sipping coffee while diving into a good book or writing her thoughts down.

If given the chance to travel anywhere in the world, Jen would opt for a long, leisurely road trip. She dreams of revisiting the small towns in Montana where she once lived, making stops in Missouri and Ohio to visit her little brothers, and exploring every quirky tourist trap along the way. Itโ€™s the silly, unexpected moments that make life memorable for her.

One of Jen's favorite memories comes from her childhood. Every spring, her friendโ€™s dad would buy a huge wooden crate, discounted paint, and penny nails for them to create a clubhouse. They spent days painting, crafting furniture from scraps, and decorating with calendar pictures from the dollar store. Their โ€œWe Love Horses Clubโ€ was a summer highlight, filled with imaginative plans to convince their parents to let them get a horseโ€”spoiler alert: She admits it never worked!

Outside of her role at Transystems, Jen indulges her creative side as a writer, artist, and amateur photographer. Though her work may not be published, these hobbies bring her immense joy and fulfillment.

Jen joined Transystems with the goal of earning her CDL, a milestone she achieved in 2018. Initially driving with the Twin Falls Project, she faced challenges when she fell ill and lost her ability to drive commercially. However, she returned to Transystems as a flumer the following season, where she now thrives, embracing the opportunity to be a goofball while building connections.

For those considering applying to Transystems, Jen assures them that they are more than just colleagues; they are a family. Jen states that many companies claim this, but she has truly found her place here, which means the world to her.

As Jen navigates the beautiful chaos of life, she remains grateful for the support and flexibility that Transystems offers. She doesnโ€™t want to be anywhere else professionally as she continues to grow and embrace new adventures.
